How it began...

​​Retire & Roam was founded in December 2018 just after my Mum passed from cancer. Dad was talking about his upcoming retirement and the decisions he would need to make, now on his own without Mum.

Dad loves to travel and he promised Mum he would continue to do so. That’s where the idea started – we help people feel inspired and ready to see the world in retirement, no matter what life has thrown their way.

Inspired by my parents' love of travel, I've continued to travel to 65+ countries, taking several breaks from my consulting career in the financial and pensions industry to do so.

I've learned a lot along my journey that I can't wait to share with you, to help you live the retirement you deserve.
